Interview Module

This page will help you to easily setup the interview module.

What is this module?

This module will help you interview recruits who join your server in a faster and better manner! This module could create separate interview rooms for each recruit by commands. This will help you to have a direct, individual talk with the recruit from your leadership team! You can also close an interview channel too! You can also make the bot log the channel creations and deletions as well.

How to Setup?

You will need to type the below command to start the setup process
/setup interview

Self Apply

You can select this option if you want your new recruits (new users) to apply and create interview channel for themselves without a need for a recruiter to do it for them. The command is /apply

Interview Category (Optional)

You'll find three optional fields to add along with the command. This includes your interview category. This is where the interview channels will be created in. If you don't have a category for this, you can leave this field and the bot will create one for you!
Make sure the category option you select has 📁 emoji before it, to make sure it is actually a category and not a text or voice channel.

Log Channel (Optional)

This is the 2nd optional field to add. This is where all the interview logs will be posted (interview creation, deletion)
Pro Tip: You can also get the full message history log as a word document for closed interviews for future references, by becoming a Patron for us!

Archive Category (Optional)

This is the 3rd optional field to add. This is the category where your interview channels will be archived. You can use /interview archive to archive an interview channel. If you don't enter this field, you'll not be able to archive interviews.
Make sure the category option you select has 📁 emoji before it, to make sure it is actually a category and not a text or voice channel.

Message

After you enter the setup command, the bot will ask you to type out the message that the bot will send to the recruit in the interview room automatically whenever a new interview room is created!
You can use {member} in place of the recruit's name, which the bot will automatically replace it with the recruit's name, in the message.

Roles that view these rooms

The bot will either give you a Select Menu and ask you to select the roles or it'll ask you to reply with the roles separated by a comma.
  1. 1.
You can mention each of the roles.
  2. 2.
You can mention the names of the roles.
  3. 3.
You can mention the ID of the roles.
All these roles should be separated by a comma

Roles that can use the interview commands

The bot will either give you a Select Menu and ask you to select the roles or it'll ask you to reply with the roles separated by a comma. These roles can create, close, archive or reopen interview channels with commands.
